HERE IS WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN DETAIL:
-
As we start, you’ll be invited to create a space where you feel comfortable and safe enough to focus on yourself. You might lay on a yoga mat or sit on a chair. You can also bring what invites the most comfort, presence, and connection for you.
-
I will introduce myself and demo the practice we'll be experiencing.
-
We'll begin with a guided meditation for meeting yourself and coming into presence and connection as well as naming our intentions.
-
I’ll guide you to locate a resource within you or just outside of you for any time you feel overwhelmed, panic, or a sense of flashback.
-
Together we'll move through a seven-minute process for fully expressing and releasing anger for 60 seconds, resting for 15 seconds, grief for 60 seconds, resting for 15 seconds, sensual pleasure for 60 seconds, resting for 15 seconds, weirdness for 60 seconds, resting for 15 seconds, and joy for 60 seconds.
-
I’ll guide you back to the resource within you to integrate and ground.
-
You can move as feels good, and you can write and process around the following topics:
What did I experience?
What was the most accessible to feel?
What was the least accessible to feel?
What would support me to feel cared for, supported, safer, and more grounded in myself as I leave the space and head into the rest of my day?
-
We'll end with a reminder to be gentle with yourself and to consider the action you can take from a clear emotional headspace as you move out into the rest of your day.
